Are You Ready to Live the Life You Want?

Have you ever stopped in the middle of what you were doing, looked around and thought to yourself, “There has to got to be more to life than this!”

If so, you’re not alone! We’ve all been there. We pick our heads up for a second and realize that we aren’t where we thought we would be by now or we thought we’d have our life together by now or we’d be more successful by now, happier by now, etc.

We get caught up in the pursuit of happiness and it usually starts off with thoughts or beliefs that go something like this, “I’ll be happy when…..”. I’ll be happy when I get a better job, a bigger house, a nicer car, a better spouse, when my kids get older, the weather gets nicer, when we go on vacation….etc, etc.

However, here’s the big joke! None of that will actually make you HAPPY because once you attain, achieve or experience that which you are seeking, you just end up chasing after the next shiny object! It’s lovingly (and not scientifically) called, the “Shiny Object Syndrome” or as I like to refer to it as, an “SOS”. An SOS that sends up the red flare that says we are stuck in an UN-happiness loop and we need to get off the merry-go-round before we get sick!

If we don’t take note of what the SOS is really trying to tell us, we continue to search and search and search until we run out of things to search for….which never really happens, we just get caught in a rut.

Here’s the kicker though…. the only person who can save us from the “merry-go-round” is US!!! WE have to be the ones to make the change or choose something different in order to create and manifest a different reality than the one we are experiencing.

So, WHAT IF……what if, we could ACTUALLY find a way to always maintain a baseline of JOY!?

Yes, this is me!
